DETAILS OF THE JOB VACANCY IS LISTED BELOW:

1)Youth Mental Health Counselor

Role Overview:
This role is central to providing non-judgmental mental health support to youth aged 12–29. The counselor will offer individual and group sessions, crisis intervention, and follow-up support, ensuring that each young person feels heard, validated, and guided towards positive mental health strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Counseling & Support: Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions; provide crisis intervention when needed.
Assessment & Referral: Assess the mental health needs of clients and refer to specialized services if required.
Documentation: Maintain confidential case records and session notes, following ethical guidelines.
Resource Development: Contribute to the development of tools, activities, and materials to support youth mental well-being.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Outreach Coordinator and other stakeholders to integrate services and expand the reach of the project.

Required Qualifications:

A degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in mental health counseling or community work.
Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with youth.

Indicative Salary Range:
₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Depending on experience and qualifications)

2) Outreach & Program Coordinator

Role Overview:
This position focuses on managing and promoting “The Orange Room” initiative. The coordinator will handle daily operational tasks, engage with local communities, schools/colleges, and other stakeholders, and work to increase the project’s visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management: Organize and oversee daily operations, scheduling, and administration of the project.
Outreach: Develop and execute outreach strategies to connect with youth, community groups, and educational institutions.
Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support various project activities.
Event Planning: Plan, promote, and manage events and workshops related to youth mental health.
Reporting: Track program outcomes, prepare periodic reports, and suggest improvements to enhance service delivery.


Required Qualifications:

A degree or diploma in Social Work, Counseling or related fields.
Prior experience in community outreach, event management, or program coordination in an NGO setting.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in mental health counseling or community work.
Indicative Salary Range:
₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience and skill set)
